Terms of Use
Last updated 21 October 2026
The short version. Play fair, use a nickname, and enjoy it. Solo play and kids’ trivia are free. Hosting a TV or phones game needs a pass, and monthly and yearly passes renew until you cancel. Trivia answers can be wrong, so tell us and we’ll check them.
1. Who we are
Oh My Gato! (formerly STEEP Trivia) (“Oh My Gato!”, “we”, “us”) is made and run by Vivere Colorado LLC, a Colorado company based in Delta, Colorado. By playing Oh My Gato! you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.
2. Who can play
- The main game and the leaderboard are for ages 13 and up. If we learn that a player under 13 has put a name or quote on the leaderboard, we remove it.
- Kids’ trivia at /kids/ is made for families with children aged 9 to 11. A child can type a first name or nickname, but it stays in that browser with the scores, and we never receive it. There are no accounts, no leaderboard and no payments. Like most web pages, it loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which sees the device’s internet address.
- You must be 18 or older to buy a pass. If you’re under 18, a parent or guardian needs to buy it, and they’re responsible for it.
3. Free play, passes and memberships
- Free: solo play on one phone, pass-one-phone games, play against the computer, and kids’ trivia.
- Paid: hosting a game on a TV, or a room where everyone plays on their own phone (up to 16 players). Only the host needs a pass; players who join on their own phones play free.
- Prices: $4.99 a month, $29.99 a year, or a $1.99 Game Night Pass that lets you host for 24 hours from the moment you pay. Prices are in US dollars. If sales tax applies, checkout shows it before you pay. Vivere Colorado LLC bills them through Stripe on chefjoeroadhouse.com.
- Renewal: monthly and yearly memberships renew automatically. We charge your card on file $4.99 every month or $29.99 every year until you cancel. A Game Night Pass is one payment and never renews. We won’t raise the price of an existing membership without emailing you at least 30 days before the renewal that would cost more, so you can cancel first.
- Cancelling: cancel any time online. Open your SMASH card at chefjoeroadhouse.com/card (sign in with the email you used at checkout) and tap Manage STEEP. That Chef Joe at Roadhouse card page is where your monthly or yearly membership is managed. You can also call (970) 500-1640 or email [email protected]. To avoid the next charge, cancel before your renewal date. Your membership keeps working to the end of the period you paid for and then stops renewing.
- Free-play code: the crew at JOE’S at Delta Roadhouse can give you a code that unlocks hosting until midnight (Mountain time) that day.
- Fair use: we may limit how many game rooms a pass, a membership or the day’s code can open in a day. If you hit a limit, try again tomorrow or email us.
- Passes are personal. Don’t share, sell or publish your pass link or the day’s code.
4. Refunds
- Monthly and yearly memberships can be cancelled any time and keep working to the end of the period you paid for. There are no partial refunds for unused time.
- A Game Night Pass is a one-time purchase for 24 hours.
- If something went wrong with a purchase, email [email protected] and we’ll look at it.
- If we refund a monthly or yearly membership, or a payment is charged back, we also cancel it so it won’t renew. A pass already on a device can keep working until it runs out: up to 24 hours after payment for a Game Night Pass, and no more than 40 days for a membership.
5. House rules
Don’t:
- cheat, or use bots, scripts or anything that plays or answers for you;
- try to get around passes, codes or limits, overload the game, or break into any part of it;
- copy, scrape or republish the questions, or use any part of Oh My Gato! to train an AI model;
- use a name or quote that is hateful, sexual, threatening or harassing, or that uses someone else’s real name without their permission.
We can remove names, quotes and scores that break these rules, and a room’s host can remove a player from that room. If a member breaks them on purpose, we can cancel their membership. Hosting then ends when the pass on their device runs out.
6. Names and quotes you add
Names, quotes and scores on the leaderboard are public, and the name you use in a game room is shown to everyone in that room and on its TV. Use a nickname, not your full name. Leaderboard entries stay up until higher scores push them off the board or we remove them. You let us show what you add inside Oh My Gato!, and we can remove it at any time.
6a. Crews and the Daily Challenge
- 13 and older. The Daily Challenge and crews are for ages 13 and up. Under 13? Please play Mimi’s Trivia, which has no crews, no shared scores and no name sharing.
- What a crew is. A crew is a private group for the Daily Challenge. Whoever starts it (the creator) decides who can join and can remove members. We don’t pick, check or read crews. Members see each other’s names and daily scores. Chat is off for every crew until its creator turns it on.
- Crew chat. If a crew’s creator turns chat on, the members of that crew can read and write short messages to each other. It is meant for friends and family, so we don’t filter everyday language and crew chat can include strong language or trash talk. Only chat with people you know and trust. Links, emails and phone numbers can’t be posted. Everyone in the crew can read every message. The creator can delete any message, remove a member and turn chat off, and you can delete your own messages. Messages are kept for up to 30 days (the latest 100). We don’t read crew chat as it happens, but we can remove a message, a member or a whole crew at any time. Nothing hateful, harassing, threatening, sexual or pretending to be someone else, and no sharing of other people’s private information. If you’re under 18, a parent or guardian should know you’re playing and chatting. Only the creator can turn chat on, and a creator who turns it on is responsible for who they let into the crew.
- Names. Use a nickname or your real name, your choice, but only your own or one you have permission to use. Nothing hateful, harassing, sexual or pretending to be someone else. If you’re under 18, a nickname is smart, and a parent or guardian should know you’re playing.
- Our right to remove. We can remove a name, a score or a whole crew at any time, for any reason. To report a problem, email us the crew code (the “Report a problem” link in the crew does this).
- Not responsible for crews. Crews, names and standings are made by players. We aren’t responsible for them, and we aren’t part of anything between members. Standings are for fun and can be wrong or reset.
- Rewards and prizes. Weekly standings are for bragging rights today. We plan to add rewards such as discounts, free food or merchandise at Mimi’s Sweet Treats and JOE’S, but none is offered yet. At first, any reward will be only for players 18 and older. When we offer one, it will have its own official rules (who can enter, how winners are chosen and any age limits), and nothing here promises a reward.
6b. My Gato Way (friend duels)
- 13 and older. A duel is between two players who are both 13 or older. Under 13? Please play Mimi’s Trivia.
- How it works. One player makes a game and sends the link to a friend. Both answer the same questions at their own pace. First to the chosen number of right answers wins. If the game clock ends first, the most right answers wins. A player who goes 24 hours without answering forfeits.
- Names and scores. Your friend sees the name you enter and your score, and nothing else. There is no chat. Only share the link with people you know. Nothing hateful, harassing, sexual or pretending to be someone else.
- For fun only. Answers are counted from each player’s own device, so a duel is for bragging rights. There is no prize. Games are deleted after they end. We can remove a game or name at any time, for any reason.
7. Our content
© 2026 Vivere Colorado LLC and its owner. All rights reserved. The questions, game, design and code are owned by Vivere Colorado LLC and its owner. Some music, sound effects and video clips, and the Mimi’s Sweet Treats name and logo on the kids’ page, belong to their own owners. You can play Oh My Gato! for personal, non-commercial fun. Anything else needs our written permission.
Oh My Gato! isn’t connected with any other product called Steep. Questions mention real people, brands, shows and teams; that doesn’t mean any of them endorse or are connected with Oh My Gato!.
8. Answers can be wrong
We check our questions, but mistakes happen and facts change. Oh My Gato! is a game, not a reference. If you think an answer is wrong, email [email protected] and we’ll look at it.
9. No warranty
Oh My Gato! is provided “as is” and “as available”. We may change, pause or end features. If we stop offering paid hosting for good, we’ll stop all renewals and refund the unused part of any current monthly or yearly membership. We don’t promise it will always work on every phone, TV or network.
10. Limit of liability
As far as the law allows, Vivere Colorado LLC isn’t responsible for indirect or consequential losses, and our total responsibility for any claim about Oh My Gato! is limited to what you paid us for Oh My Gato! in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have that the law says can’t be limited.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Any dispute goes to the state courts in Delta County, Colorado, unless the law gives you the right to bring it somewhere else.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, and the date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters to paying members, such as the price, what a pass includes or how to cancel, we email them at least 30 days before it applies to them, and they can cancel before then. Other changes apply from the date at the top.
